Chiffchaff Visitors Book 2010

Peter and Margaret, Bristol (March)

Weather is not good, cold, windy, but the bungalow always warm and comfortable to come home to, so we enjoyed our holiday and we enjoyed the holiday fudge, thank you.

The Nixons, Devon (April)

Have enjoyed our stay in the very comfortable and immaculate bungalow, with more than everything for our needs. The fudge was gorgeous; we felt this was a very thoughtful touch, thank you so much. The weather has been kind to us which was an added bonus. My disabled husband found Chiffchaff exactly right for his needs, being all on the level. We would like to return sometime and would have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends.

The Potters, Southampton (April)

Chiffchaff and weather brilliant. Great feeling to sit by the fire when you have come back from the beach (Harlyn especially). Body board great – I put a bit of string around the cord – and the buckets and spades handy.

Noel and Elizabeth, Buck (May)

As always, ‘fantastic’. Relaxing and superb local catering facilities. Chiffchaff is a delight and very accommodating. All in all, the usual very best of breaks. Sept/Oct a must.

The Morgans (May)

Had a lovely stay as before. Everything was perfect. Weather good too!

Ken, Jo and Blue (dog), West Midlands (May)

Once again, another great relaxing week. Home from home. Thank you.

Rod, Nicky and Coco (dog), West Midlands (Jume)

Lovely stay once again. Absolutely everything we needed. Thanks so much for the fudge, we all enjoyed it. Many thanks to Helen too.

Wendy, Tim and Owen, Shropshire (June)

Enjoyed a lovely week, weather was beautiful. Best week we’ve had down here for years. Thank you for the lovely fudge.

The Hansons, Bucks (June)

Had a lovely time, weather great, bungalow perfect as usual. Will be back next year.

Dasie, David and Betty, Norfolk (July)

Lovely bungalow, lovely and clean etc. We have had a lovely holiday, our first time at Chiffchaff and will come again. Weather could have been a little kinder.

Keizer Family, Holland (July)

A very complete house in a beautiful town. We have really enjoyed the beaches even though the weather wasn’t that good. Also been to the China Clay Museum; we really enjoyed that.

Alan and Abeer, Kent (August)

One of the most beautiful houses we have stayed in, really a homely welcome, the fudges were lovely. Very disappointing weather – only had one sunny day. Loads to do, found a lovely pub, fantastic that Tesco is just around the corner. We will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

The Wilsons, Lancs (August)

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Chiffchaff, thank you for the fudge.

The Hislops, Warwickshire (August)

Enjoyed our holiday, weather so-so. Thanks for everything.

Bradley and Miriam, Ireland (Sept)

Had a great holiday, Chiffchaff is a beautiful cottage and Padstow is perfect for exploring the rest of Cornwall.

Neville and Mary, Notts (Sept)

Lovely bungalow, very comfortable. Will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you for fudge. Had a lovely holiday.

The Jakobsens, London (Sept)

Again another wonderful holiday. Met up with people we have met in previous years and lovely to see neighbours again. Weather was quite kind, windy, so great for body boarding. Bungalow very welcoming as usual, thank you.

The Daleys, Derbyshire (Sept)

Another enjoyable week at Chiffchaff. A lot of rain Wed night, rest of the week pretty good weather for late Sept.

The Smiths, Tyne & Wear (Oct)

We have had a great two weeks; the homely bungalow and unexpected excellent weather for virtually the full tow weeks. Enjoyed this stay and hope to repeat it again in the future. Bungalow lovely, clean and comfortable.

The Potters, Southampton (Oct)

Found two good conkers, weather ok. The Farmers Arms in St Merryn do very good homemade chips. Chiffchaff, as ever, warm, cosy and delightful.

To Padstow for sun and sea
And to run on the beach and be free
Chiffchaff was warm
Which, of course, was the norm
And to the Metropole for afternoon tea.
